Jakob "Köbi" Kuhn born October 12, 1943 in Zürich. he is a Swiss National Team football manager . During his playing career he got 63 caps for Switzerland and played primarily for FC Zürich. He also played one match for the Swiss national team in the 1966 FIFA World Cup in England.Appointed manager for the Swiss U-21 team some time after retiring, he was promoted to coach the senior national team in June 2001, replacing the Argentine Enzo Trossero. His appointment as head coach was first not universally applauded, but he has led the Swiss to the Euro 2004 and the second round of the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Kuhn announced in October 2006 that he will terminate his engagement as manager of the Swiss squad after the EURO 2008. As the Swiss squad showed in recent games a unsatisfying performance, many observers believe that his announcement to step down was not helpful in regards of the EURO 08 tournament success. Kuhn was cited earlier it is the aim of the Swiss squad to win the tournament at home. A potential successor is Ottmar Hitzfeld who has himself thrown his hat into the ring for the job.

Josef Hickersberger born April 27, 1948 in Amstetten, Austria .Since January 2006 he is coaching the Austrian national team. Hickersberger's career as a player began with Austria Wien. Later he played for Kickers Offenbach, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Rapid Vienna and others. He was also a member of the Austrian national team during the Football World Cup 1978 in Argentina. Since retiring as a player, Hickersberger has worked as a football coach. He was the coach of the Austrian national team at the Football World Cup 1990 in Italy. However, after the embarrasing 1-0 defeat against the Faroe Islands, he decided to stop and after that coached Fortuna Düsseldorf (1990-1992) and Austria Wien (1993/94).Hickersberger then worked for a few years in the Arabian region, where he trained several teams, among them the Bahrain national football team.In 2002 Hickersberger came back to Austria, and brought back success to Rapid viena. With him as coach, Rapid won the Austrian Championship of 2004/2005, nine years after the last triumph, and accordingly qualified for the UEFA Champions League group stage where Rapid faced the teams of Bayern Munich, Juventus Turin and Club Brugge.

Slaven Bilić born September 11, 1968 coach of the Croatian national team. He was an important member of the Croatian team during their successes from 1994-1998, winning a third place medal in the 1998 World Cup.began his career at his home town club, Hajduk Split, in the former Yugoslavia at nine years of age and spent six seasons there as a professional before moving to the Bundesliga in a £750,000 deal in 1993. After impressing for German side Karlsruher SC including a UEFA Cup semi-final appearance he was bought by English Premiership side West Ham United's manager Harry Redknapp for a fee of £1.3M, in January 1996. His form for the Hammers saw him selected for the Croatian national team for Euro 96 held in England. He shone on the international stage as Croatia made their way to the quarterfinals of the tournament where they were beaten by eventual winners Germany. His displays in the tournament led to Joe Royle brokering a £4.5M move to Everton in March 1997, but Bilić claimed he had a debt of loyalty to West Ham that saw him stay with the club until the end of the season to ensure they were not relegated – but it is also alleged he picked up a £200,000 'loyalty bonus' by staying. He turned out for Everton in August 1997, after assuring himself of new manager Howard Kendall's full support, he initially brought some class to Toffee's backline but his season was marred by bookings that saw him miss several games through suspension. It looked like his Everton career was over but he went into the 1998 World Cup with Croatia and the team were the surprise package of the tournament, reaching the semi-finals where they took on hosts France.
