Alfred Ludwig (Austria, born on 26 July 1950) The Viennese began his career as a secondary school teacher and journalist, before joining the Austrian Football Association in1981, firstly as press officer and then, since 1986, as general secretary (with a one-yearbreak in 2003 when he acted as tournament director for UEFA EURO 2008™). Since the 1990s, Ludwig has also been chairman of the 100 per cent ÖFB subsidiary Austrian Football Marketing GmbH (AFM).
